I read many blogs. Every so often I come across some material that I enjoy sharing with you. I have been following LEAVETHEBUILDINGBLOG.COM and came across a great resource, House Church 101.
We have be living out an organic church for a little while now, but already some people have forgotten why we do what we do, or have found themselves falling back into old habits. Often it reminds me of the Israelites when they have been liberated from Egypt (given the freedom that they cried for and desired) then complain that they would rather go back to Egypt. I guess because it was familiar, predictable and for all intents and purposes, comfortable. They would even get fed. (Sound familiar?)
